Carsonia: Music

Neighbors

(Carsonia)
She was old in the seventies
Now she knows she needs a better home
And all of her family
They don’t comprehend where she’s going
But all the lights burned out there yesterday

He
He’s a millionare
No one really cares what he does
So he’ll keep calling all his confidants
And all the normal men he wished he was

He turns off everything and falls to bed
He makes a sordid dream out of what was never said

And I
I’ll make some time for that
Yes I’ll focus my mind on you
We’ll go
We’ll work our way to the sky
But we know we won’t find anything new

I don’t need this anymore
Who reads me anyway
Between these lines
Don’t act so surprised when I have run away
Like the old lady said
I think it’s time

Marching down these streets in crazy lines
These soldiers wonder why they do this all the time

And I
I’ll make some time for that
Yes I’ll focus my mind on you
We’ll go
We’ll work our way to the sky
But we know we won’t find anything new
